"and it felt amazing just to be free"

I really wanted to share my I story with you. I never really intended on running cross country running always seemed like something I wouldn't be that good at. Then my brother came to high school and said he would join the team. I talked to my friend about joining the team and heard that it was a lot of hard work and dedication and they didn't know if I could do it. Well I wanted to prove them wrong but for a couple days I believed that I couldn't do it. But I showed up the first day at practice and ran with my heart, not my legs and it felt amazing to just be free. That's when I knew that no body could tell me not to run cross country
