"I've taken 4 minutes off my mile"

This is kinda a "I didn't run cross country" story I was excited to join my first year my brother was on the team so I knew the coaches and they were all really cool so I joined my first year I absolutely hated it i wasn't used to running all the time and I got like 5th to last in every race turns out I had asthma and no one knew till a few years later. Anyways that made me miserable so I wanted to quit all year I said I'm not doing this next year and a lot of people told me to stay it gets better but I was like I really don't want to tho and I didn't go to the first day of practice the next year but my brother did. So I decided to go back. It was the best decision I've ever made. (If anyone is reading this and your thinking about quitting don't quit even if you get last in every race I used to get bad places in every race and with training hard I've taken 4 minutes off my mile since then don't give up!)
