"I'm so thankful for my coach, she changed my life"

Here's my "Cross country changed my life" story. I know it's not the "I didn't" stories you are tweeting about but it's something new! So I thought I would share my story :) I was a freshman in high school and I was so excited to run cross country. My first year was awesome had a great team and an awesome coach. Sadly my coach was let go and the girls team for the next year was just going to be me. My sophomore year I got a new coach that I loved. I was having some trouble being the only girl but my coach made it worth it. However, at the end of the year my coach informed me she was stepping down. Junior year came and again I was the only girl. I hated the new coach because she was tough and I wanted to quit. I'm so glad I didn't. I accomplished more with this coach than I did the others. We finally bonded and she pushed me to be my best and do my best daily. Because of her I had an awesome season my Junior. Senior year I was still the only girl but it was alright. I had some awesome friends on the guys team and I knew I had the full support of my coach. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be at the college I am today. I only run as a hobby now but I'm so thankful for my coach because she changed my life.
