Reach out.

Reach out.

I am a runner. I've been running for about 8 years and I'm only a freshman in high school. I've ran so many miles, beat up my body from eating to less, so I run faster. Beating my body up from not properly stretching after a long run or workout. I beat up my mentality, to thinking I'm an awful runner to thinking a can beat some with crazy times. So, why do we stick to this sport? Why do we love doing this to ourselves? I can kinda explain it.

The feeling after you have PR and showed people how good you can be. Running and hearing your family and friends supporting you. Even the little things, finishing a little workout by yourself. That's why I keep at it. I run to see how much I can push my body.

Not only your body though, running has to do with your mentality, too. You are a great runner believe you are great. It's hard to throw out all the bad thoughts you can think before a race. You can though, if you are mentally down think about how many miles you have ran this season. How hard you have worked to get there. You are faster than you think you are, just go after it. ¨You are great, believe you are great.¨ You have to lift yourself up if you want to be great. So if you are thinking that you cant make it past districts, what is stopping you? Why cant you do it? Why not you? You CAN do it! You have worked so hard for that one feeling of accomplishment. So reach out and grab it, its all yours!
