The Difference Between a Runner And a Cross Country Runner

The Difference Between a Runner And a Cross Country Runner

Anyone can run but the willingness to run that extra mile on long run day, or push the pace on a LPPM run that is the difference between a runner, and a XC runner. A cross country runner runs because he knows that if he doesn't train today someone else is, and is getting better then he is. A cross country runner runs so that he can achieve a higher level of training then he has before. We run though the pain in our legs, and don't stop till the finish. We know that if we don't run well in our race we let the whole team down. We run because our team is more like a family.
